Another Design Project

For this assignment, we had to create an object using primarily text. My theme has been weapons this semester so I chose to go with the macabre...the axe. I wanted to do something a little sinister, so I chose to make the text about Lizzie Borden the famous axe murderer from the late 1800's/early 1900's. The text is a dark nursery rhyme that manifested out of the popularity of the murders. It goes, 'Lizzie Borden took an axe and gave her mother forty whacks. And when she saw what she had done, she gave her father forty-one.' I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.
