digi and traditional
Trying to stay busy during the break. I'm interning with Robert Meganck at Communication Design,Inc. over the holidays, so I'm definitely flexing my photoshop skills. Also, I'm working on getting better with oil paint too. I'm really enjoying the balance of digital and traditional media right now. Two of the paintings are 2 feet square, and the other is 2x4 feet on birch. The Thom Yorke portrait was my first digital celebrity portrait.

great stuff. I see what you mean now. The simplified color really lets the line stand. But I do think less hard-edged tone transitions can work too, as in the motorcycle maintenance piece
thanks man. all of these pieces have since been worked further. the motorcycle piece changed quite a bit. I didn't know if I should post the finishes up here or not...maybe I will.
